Columbus Blue Jackets Fall to New York Islanders at Nassau

The Columbus Blue Jackets played a hard fought game on Long Island against the New York Islanders. The game ended with a final score of 3-2 with the Islanders coming out on top, largely thanks to Thomas Greiss.

The first period was a hard hitting affair, with Pierre-Luc Dubois taking a penalty just over a minute into the game on a seemingly clean hit that was somehow called a trip.

There would be a lot of back and forth action until David Savard and Anders Lee would take coincidental minor penalties for roughing following a large scrum.
