The fans of the Columbus Blue Jackets began to panic again after such a slow start, but the team was able to ease the tension after winning two straight against Chicago and Dallas respectively and then getting the point in an overtime loss in Los Angeles
With the Blue Jackets starting off 0-8 to start the season last year the pressure to come out of the gate hot was higher than it has ever been in Columbus. This response goes a long way, but fans can not read too much into it.

In all five of the Blue Jackets games, there are two players that have to be mentioned, rookie defenseman Zach Werenski, goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky, and captain Nick Foligno.
