Oh boy…
The Columbus Blue Jackets are one of those special teams that can still appreciate a playoff birth in any fashion. After all, this is only the fifth playoff birth in franchise history. But the odds will be stacked against the Union Blue, as they, unfortunately, will be going against the conference juggernauts in the Tampa Bay Lightning.
This always seems to be a problem for the Jackets, who have previously drawn the likes of the late 2000’s Detroit Red Wings, the Sidney Crosby’s prime Pittsburgh Penguins, and the finally Stanley Cup Champion Washington Capitals in their playoff series.
