Columbus Blue Jackets Anemic Offense Dooms in Sharks Loss

The broken record is beyond annoying. The Columbus Blue Jackets only score one goal and lose a game that they need to win to keep pace in the Metro division. The Sharks take a chunk out of the Jackets with a 3-1 win in Columbus.

The Sharks were able to score two goals on the power play including the game winning goal that came on a 5-3 opportunity. Sergei Bobrovsky was beat after a terrible Nick Foligno left the Jackets in an impossible 5-3 situation.

That penalty and general lack of impact, forced Coach Tortorella to bench the captain for the remainder of the second period and well into the third.
