A new year and a new contract is exactly what Boone Jenner needed after the 2018 season. The Columbus Blue Jackets winger is coming off of a pretty unfortunate season that started it’s unfortunate run sometime in the summer last year.
Boone’s 2017 training camp was derailed after suffering a back injury in the offseason. It caused Boone to miss training camp and get off to a slow start last season. Boone didn’t play until late October and was barely noticeable for the first half of the season.
In his first 43 games, Jenner only produced 11 points.
