COLUMBUS, OHIO -- The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated right wing Jared Boll off Injured Reserve, club General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced today. Boll has missed the last 11 games after suffering a foot injury while skating in his 500th career NHL game vs. the St. Louis Blues on November 17.
Boll, 29, has registered 18 penalty minutes and a -1 plus/minus rating in 12 games this season. He has posted 26-33-59 and is the Blue Jackets’ all-time leader in penalty minutes with 1,152. The Charlotte, North Carolina native was the club’s fourth pick, 101st overall, in the 2005 NHL Draft.
