Dante Fabbro did not start with the 2024-25 season with the Blue Jackets. He started with the Nashville Predators and was picked up off waivers on November 10th, 2024. At the time, the waiver claim looked like a depth move for the CBJ defense. However, the change of scenery led to a revival of Fabbro’s career, as he found instant chemistry with the team and played very well.
Fabbro was placed on the top pairing with Zach Werenski and never looked back. Playing with Werenski helped Fabbro settle in with the new team and gain confidence.
