Tonight, the top* prospects of the Columbus Blue Jackets begin their annual tournament against other top NHL prospects, in Buffalo, New York.
Unlike past years, especially when Columbus dominated the event in Traverse City, Michigan, with a combination of Cleveland Monsters rookies and CHL all-stars, the Jackets squad find themselves a bit shorthanded. Many recent top picks have already established themselves as regulars in the NHL or AHL (Adam Fantilli, Kent Johnson, Denton Mateychuk) or are occupied with their college season (Cayden Lindstrom, Jackson Smith).
Although there are no top 10 selections from our Top 25 Under 25 series on the roster, there are still some intriguing prospects (Drafted or signed as Fre Agents):
Jordan Dumais
Oiva Keskinen
Max McCue
Tyler Peddle
Luca Pinelli
Jack Williams
Owen Griffin
Charlie Elick
Guillaume Richard
Caleb MacDonald
Evan Gardner
Nolan Lalonde
Also included on the roster include: forwards Josh Avery, Ryder Boulton, Brendan Hoffmann, Ryland Mosley, Nicolas Sima, Evan Van Gorp; defensemen Will Bishop, Jakub Chromiak, P.
