COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets will play an eight-game preseason schedule, including four home games at Nationwide Arena, prior to the 2016-17 National Hockey League season, the club announced today. Columbus will play a home and road set against the Boston Bruins, Nashville Predators, Pittsburgh Penguins and St. Louis Blues.
The Blue Jackets open preseason play on Sunday, September 25 with a pair of split squad games against St. Louis. The two teams will meet at 1 p.m. ET at Scottrade Center in St. Louis, followed by a 7 p.m. ET contest at Nationwide Arena in Columbus.
