Everybody expected Nico Carvacho to make history Tuesday night against San Diego State.
He did exactly that just over ten minutes into the game, pulling down his third rebound of the game to surpass Pat Durham as the program's all-time leading rebounder. That wasn't the surprising part of Tuesday night.
What was surprising is the magnitude of the game-defying runs, none more important than a 17-1 sequence in favor of the Aztecs midway through the second half. The Rams failed to reverse course after the run, eventually leading to a 71-60 defeat, their third in a row.
