FORT COLLINS — On the field, he's still a young kid.
Rashad Ajayi won't turn 20 until halfway through the 2019 season, but he'll still be a sophomore in college on a young defensive unit.
He'll also be a veteran for that group, one of just three Ram defenders who started every game in 2018, one of only two (Ellison Hubbard) who return. And he did it as a true freshman.
He was the first plug-and-play freshman for the Rams since Rashard Higgins at wide receiver in 2013, and nothing in spring camp suggests any change in 2019.
