Rams soccer team dominated by MW powerhouse San Diego State

No surprises here – the Aztecs did what they were supposed to do against the Rams.

The Colorado State women’s soccer team (3-9-2, 0-4-1 MW) gave a respectable showing for a third-year program facing the Mountain West preseason coaches poll favorite San Diego State (8-4, 4-1 MW), despite the final 3-0 tally.

It didn’t take the Aztecs long, as they got on board with their first shot of the game. In just the seventh minute SDSU took the lead on a header by junior forward Hedda Regefalk off of a cross by Jen Rupey.

SDSU found some breathing room before the close of the opening half.
