FORT COLLINS — Most players can only dream of hitting a game-winning buzzer beater.
Prentiss Nixon now has two in his past eight home games.
Colorado State's junior guard dribbled the length of the court, pulled up and calmly knocked down a well-contested 30-footer just before the final horn to lift the Rams to a 68-66 win over Long Beach State on Saturday at Moby Arena.
Nixon also made a game-winner to beat Wyoming in last year's home finale. His most recent heroics gave the Rams a winning record in non-conference play (7-6) for the sixth time in as many seasons under coach Larry Eustachy.
