FORT COLLINS — Last October, Colorado State coach Tom Hilbert had questioned his decision.
He chose to redshirt Breana Runnels, and there were certain sessions that made him wonder.
"She had a couple of practices where I was like, if this kid can harness this and do this consistently, she's going to be very, very effective for us," Hilbert said. "That's happening a lot."
Runnels wasn't the biggest producer on a night when No. 24 Colorado State put the full balance of its offense on display in a 25-21, 25-22, 25-12 sweep of Fresno State at Moby Arena.
