No. 24 CSU volleyball closes out MW play with sweep

SAN DIEGO, Ca. — Two weeks after clinching the conference title, Colorado State finally closed out Mountain West play.

The No. 24 Rams posted their 13th sweep in league action, taking down San Diego State on the road 25-22, 25-20, 25-21, moving to 27-3 overall, 17-1 in conference play.

A week from now, the team will celebrate the championship in its final regular-season match with non-conference foe UC Davis at Moby Arena on Saturday (noon).

Redshirt freshman Breana Runnels led the way with 13 kills, giving her the class record for kills in a season during the modern era with 338.
