No. 23 Colorado State volleyball posts remarkable rally

BOISE, Id. — Entering Thursday night, Colorado State had won four consecutive Mountain West matches in three sets. The three they won in a row at Boise State topped them all.

Mainly because they came after the Rams fell in a 2-0 hole to the defending conference champions and looked completely out of sorts in dropping the second set 25-11 after losing the first 25-21.

"When I called a timeout in the second, I said the old joke, 'we got them right where we want them,' because we had to say something funny because we were horrendous," CSU coach Tom Hilbert said.
