FORT COLLINS — Every match of the season, Tom Hilbert sits on the bench and puts on a show. His emotions are on his sleeve, in his facial expressions and in the way he occasionally will stomp on the floor when he's not happy.
This is the coach of the No. 20 team in the nation, a Colorado State volleyball crew that pushed its Mountain West mark to 12-0 on the year with nine sweeps, including Thursday's shutdown of Air Force, 25-19, 25-22, 25-15. The Rams are 22-2 overall, and Hilbert needs to be that way if his team is to continue to get better.
