If Saturday's game against UNLV was the first Colorado State basketball game you watched this season, you have already have a thorough understanding of the Rams' season.
The 65-60 loss to the Rebels is in most ways a microcosm of CSU's entire regular season. For long stretches of basketball, it was clear this team is brimming with potential. For other periods, though, it looked completely outmatched.
The same thing can be said for a myriad of other games this season, especially in Mountain West play. Now finishing the regular season with two such losses in a row, the Rams know they have to make the good stretches the norm, not the exception.
