ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Colorado State wide receiver Michael Gallup is a consensus All-American after all.
The distinction comes from the NCAA after looking at the five official All-America lists selected by the Football Writers Association of America, The Sporting News, American Football Coaches Association, the Associated Press and Walter Camp.
A player becomes a consensus first-team All-American by making the majority of those lists, a unanimous All-American if named first team on all. When it came to receiver, Oklahoma State's James Washington was a unanimous pick, but Gallup and Memphis' Anthony Miller were each named twice on first- and second-teams.
