FORT COLLINS — New Colorado State head men's basketball coach Niko Medved has brought two of his assistants with him from Drake, announcing Monday that Ali Farokhmanesh and JR Blount have officially joined the CSU coaching staff.
Justin Michael of insidetheseasms.com first reported the moves last Thursday on the same day news broke that Medved was becoming the next CSU head coach after one season at Drake.
"We're really excited to add both Ali and JR here to the Ram basketball family," Medved said in release. "They're both absolutely terrific coaches and recruiters, as I believe they are rising stars in the business.
