Former CSU basketball forward Che Bob signs with Brazilian team

FORT COLLINS — Former Colorado State forward Che Bob has signed to play for Minas Tênis Clube of Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB), the top professional basketball league in Brazil. The team announced the signing Wednesday, lauding Bob's versatility and physicality.

A native of the Bronx, Bob averaged 9.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in two seasons at CSU after transferring from South Plains (Texas) College.

After having his junior season cut short because of academic ineligibility, Bob played in all 32 of the Rams' games in 2017-18, averaging 9.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.
