David Roddy chooses CSU men's basketball over Minnesota, Northwestern

Niko Medved added his fourth commitment to the class of 2019 Friday evening when forward David Roddy announced his intent to sign with Colorado State men's basketball.

A 6-foot-5, 250-pound forward from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Roddy is rated a three-star recruit and picked CSU over hometown Minnesota and Northwestern. Roddy also played quarterback at Breck School and received interest from college football programs before electing to play basketball.

Roddy visited CSU the weekend of Sept. 8 and was on hand when the Rams defeated Arkansas at Canvas Stadium. Nico Carvacho was his player host that weekend, and Roddy told Ryan Krous of 247Sports that he enjoyed seeing the campus and atmosphere of Fort Collins after the game.
