Colorado State wide receiver Darius Wise announced on Twitter on Friday evening he is leaving the football program.
Wise posted on his account that he thanked the program and "especially" head coach Mike Bobo for the opportunity, but that he was reopening his recruitment.
The 5-foot-9, 170 pounder out of Midland, Penn., played as a true freshman on special teams in 2017, then was moved during the 2018 season to wide receiver. He would have been a junior for the team this upcoming season. He appeared in eight games overall as a Ram.
He had three receptions for 3 yards this season, recording two tackles as a freshman.
