CSU women's basketball falls in OT to Fresno State, likely ending the Rams' run of four straight MW titles

FORT COLLINS — The Rams' unprecedented reign atop the Mountain West appears to be over.

The Colorado State women's basketball team rolled off six straight wins over the past month to vault themselves up the conference standings and in position to successfully defend yet another regular season title.

But with a crowded race that saw five teams within a half-game of each other entering the day, CSU had no room for error in its quest for a record fifth straight championship.

A significant rebounding disadvantage and a below-average shooting day caught up to the Rams in a 75-64 overtime loss to visiting Fresno State on Saturday at Moby Arena.
