FORT COLLINS — The Colorado State women's basketball team didn't look sharp early, trailing visiting Colorado-Colorado Springs 23-15 after one quarter. But soon enough the Rams got it going to earn a 78-60 victory in an exhibition game Wednesday night at Moby Arena.
Thirteen different Rams saw the floor for coach Ryun Williams' team, which is coming off its fourth straight Mountain West championship but is having to replace four-year starters Ellen Nystrom and Elin Gustavsson.
Six-foot-six center Lena Svanholm, a freshman from Denmark, scored a team-best 14 points on 4-of-8 shooting in 17 minutes off the bench.
