FORT COLLINS — The push by Colorado State's volleyball team continued Thursday night with a decisive sweep at home of San Diego State.
The 25-9, 25-11, 25-18 victory was the sixth consecutive win for the Rams, complete with a blistering hitting performance as they hit .407 on the night against the Aztecs.
CSU improved to 9-2 in conference, 17-6 overall. SDSU slipped to 5-6, 7-17.
Paulina Hougaard-Jensen led the charge with 14 kills on 20 swings without an errors, finishing at .700. Breana Runnels finished with 10 kills, Sasha Colombo nine and eight for Kirstie Hillyer on just 10 swings as setter Katie Oleksak had 41 assists.
