CSU volleyball No. 25 in preseason poll

FORT COLLINS — Colorado State's volleyball team is back in the preseason poll after a two-year absence, taking up the final spot in the AVCA release on Wednesday.

It's actually a drop for the Rams, who finished 24th in the final poll of the 2017 season, but it's a step forward since coach Tom Hilbert's program wasn't included in the preseason markup last year. This is the 21st time the Rams have made the preseason poll, doing so in 15 of the 22 years Hilbert has coached.

Colorado State finished the season 29-3, reaching the NCAA Tournament for the 23rd consecutive season, advancing to the second round after beating Michigan in the opener.
