CSU volleyball dressed for success

FORT COLLINS — There was a crayon on the court.

As well as a flapper, a spice girl and a banana, among others.

It was Halloween, and Colorado State coach Tom Hilbert was on the road recruiting, but it wasn't so much the players taking advantage of an unsupervised situation.

Nor was it a team too relaxed with a gigantic lead in the Mountain West standings. No, the No. 20 Rams were blowing off some steam in a good way.

"I think it's good at this point of the season, especially this point of the season," said the yellow Crayola, known on game days as Olivia Nicholson.
