FORT COLLINS — Fitting with what happened on the court during Mountain West play, Colorado State's volleyball team dominated the postseason honors.

Monday, setter Katie Oleksak was named the conference player of the year, while redshirt freshman Breana Runnels was named the top newcomer in voting done by coaches based on conference results. Overall, the Rams had five players selected to the first team, with another earning honorable mention. CSU's Tom Hilbert was named the coach of the year.

The Rams, ranked 23rd in the country and headed to their 23rd consecutive NCAA Tournament this weekend, went 17-1 in the MW, five games clear of Wyoming.
