CSU secondary focused on turnaround

FORT COLLINS — In a manner of a few months, the vibe had changed.

There is a growing confidence about the depth of talent in the Colorado State secondary due to health and recruiting, a far cry from when about eight players were getting normal reps in that position group in the spring.

Where once the Rams looked thin and untested, they now feel invigorated.

"We increased our numbers from the spring," CSU defensive coordinator John Jancek said. "Jamal (Hicks) and Jordan (Fogal) were both injured and didn't go through spring.
