HONOLULU -- The first four weeks were fun. An in-state rival in an NFL stadium. Opening a new on-campus stadium against a Pac-12 opponent. A trip to No. 1 Alabama.
All are memorable, but starting Saturday, the season gets real for Colorado State and the football team's primary goal.
"Non-conference is always fun, going up against bigger opponents, but really what we're playing for this year is the conference championship, so it's always fun to start conference play," CSU defensive back Justin Sweet said. "Our ultimate goal when we started camp, it wasn't to beat Oregon State or beat Alabama.
