CSU football safety Braylin Scott likely to miss upcoming season due to criminal court case

FORT COLLINS — Colorado State's football team will likely be without junior safety Braylin Scott for the entirety of its upcoming season as he defends a criminal court case related to a May arrest, his attorney said Monday.

Scott will remain suspended from Rams football as a theft allegation naming him as a suspect makes its way through district court, his attorney Erik Fischer said in an interview.

Starting seven of the 11 games he appeared in for the Rams last season, Scott led the team in interceptions with three, and was seventh in tackles with 39.
