CSU football receives verbal from Trey McBride

FORT COLLINS — Colorado State had a lot of familiarity with the latest player to give them a verbal commitment, as Fort Morgan's Trey McBride announced on Twitter he has verbally committed to join his brother, Toby, in Fort Collins.

McBride is considered the seventh best prospect in the state of Colorado by Scout.com, a three-star tight end who is coming back from collarbone surgery. Trey said he has been cleared this week and hopes to play Friday for the Mustangs.

While he said his family never pressured him in his decision, he had an idea of where they really wanted him to play, so everybody was happy after Trey exited coach Mike Bobo's office on Thursday.
