CSU football losing, but not beaten up mentally

DENVER — Linebacker Kevin Davis summed up the team-wide feeling in two words. For good measure, he used them twice.

"It sucks," he said after Saturday's 27-24 overtime loss to Colorado in the Rocky Mountain Showdown.

Short. Succinct. To the point.

Now at 1-2 on the season, the Rams have hit that point by losing successive overtime games to Power 5 schools. Coach Mike Bobo will not taking solace in any of it.

"There's not really any consolation," Bobo said. "Like I said last week, you work hard, you play — we all play the game to win the game, we're all competitors.
