FORT COLLINS — As a team they think they're pretty good.
Outside of Fort Collins, many believe Colorado State's football team will compete for a Mountain West championship this season, as they were picked to finish second in the Mountain Division by a poll of media who cover the conference.
That's nice. The Rams are excited, the coaches are confident and the fans are hopeful this is the year.
Those feelings have been there in the past, too.
To make it right, the Rams have to take that crucial last step that as avoided them since their last conference title in 2002: Go prove it.
