CSU football faces a throwback runner in Hawaii's Diocemy Saint Juste

FORT COLLINS — In a era of college football where most programs share the carries, Hawaii is a throwback.

In Diocemy Saint Juste the Warriors trust, and they do it week after week, carry after carry. Through four games this season, the 5-foot-8, 195-pounder has taken his shots, averaging a shade better than 25 carries per game. He had 23 rushes in the opener, and he was just getting started, hitting a high of 27 against UCLA.

There are only two backs in the nation averaging more carries per game than Saint Juste — D'Angelo Brewer of Tulsa (28.
