FORT COLLINS — Shock and awe.

If you weren't there, you might not have even believed it. You certainly couldn't have fully understood it. Colorado State has endured its fair share of pain lately. Nothing could have prepared the Rams for Saturday night.

Firmly in control, and well on its way to a first-ever win against Boise State, CSU held a 14-point lead with 3:02 remaining in the game. Only a miracle would save the Broncos.

On the all-blue sideline, the Hail Mary's were flying.

Boise State drove its way down the field, utilizing an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty to aid its effort, punching the ball into the end zone with a 13-yard pass from Brett Rypien to Sean Modster, closing the gap to a single touchdown, trailing 52-45.
