CSU football backs set goal to hit the hole

There were six FBS teams worse at running the football than Colorado State last year. Only six.

In some ways, it's surprising the Rams cracked the century mark, averaging 105.6 yards per game. Despite their efforts to establish the rushing attack most weeks, they only did so a handful of times. And for someone like coach Mike Bobo who always stresses a balanced offensive attack, it simply has to be better.

A more experienced offensive line can certainly help open up holes and push defensive linemen, but it doesn't matter if running backs aren't willing to do the dirty work.
