CSU Football: A (Richard) King-sized opportunity

FORT COLLINS — Like any coach, Mike Bobo had little time to fill his first recruiting class when he was hired as Colorado State's coach in December of 2014.

Much of the class had been filled by commitments given to departing coach Jim McElwain, but there were still a few pieces to find, and one of them came from inside the state's borders.

At Rangeview High School, Richard King had been waiting for an offer he felt he deserved. Then again, he knew it had been seven years since a Raider had been given an offer from a big school, so he was a bit relieved when Colorado State finally delivered.
