CSU basketball loses two to transfer

Colorado State guard Anthony Masinton-Bonner and forward Deion James both announced via Twitter on Monday they will transfer from the program. Both players will have one year of eligibility remaining.

Masinton-Bonner has played a pivotal role for the Rams since his redshirt freshman season in 2016-17. He participated in all 68 games his first two years of playing and became a starter as a redshirt sophomore. The 6-foot-3 guard entered this season as a starter before suffering an Achilles injury against Air Force on Jan. 8.

Before the injury, he averaged 13.
