AIR FORCE ACADEMY — The Colorado State women's basketball team is heading into the conference tournament with nearly an entire season's full of momentum.
The 22nd-ranked Rams finished off a perfect Mountain West season with an 81-48 win at Air Force on Friday at Clune Arena, extending their program-record win streak to 25 games heading to next week's MW tournament in Las Vegas.
CSU (28-1, 18-0 MW) is the second program to go undefeated in Mountain West play. Utah was perfect in 2000-01 and 2007-08.
The Rams are the first team, men's or women's, to finish a league season without a loss since the MW went to an 18-game conference schedule three years ago.
