SAN DIEGO — The Colorado State women's basketball team had no intention of sharing its fourth straight regular season Mountain West title, and Saturday the Rams ensured they'd have it all to themselves.
In one of their most complete efforts of the season, the Rams clinched the title outright with a convincing 80-46 win over San Diego State at Viejas Arena.
"It's so hard to do. We've been talking about it with our coaching staff," coach Ryun Williams said of the four-peat. "We really feel good about it. Proud of these kids that they don't have to share it with anybody.
