A huge second quarter lifted the Colorado State women's basketball team to a 73-66 win at San Jose State on Saturday at The Event Center in San Jose, California.
The Rams (18-7, 10-4 Mountain West) outscored the Spartans 23-11 in the second frame to pick their sixth straight win and remain in contention for their fifth straight regular season conference title.
Hannah Tvrdy paced CSU with 22 points and six rebounds and Sofie Tryggeddson finished with 11 points and 11 rebounds as Colorado State led for all but 25 seconds of the contest. Jordyn Edwards added 13 points and Lore Devos scored 10 for CSU.
