Colorado State Women: Rams return to form

FORT COLLINS —That's more like it.

With losses in three of their past five games, and an uninspiring one-point win at previously winless Air Force in that mix, the Colorado State women's basketball team hardly looked like a four-time defending conference champion lately.

They did Wednesday night. Sparked by a dominant Hannah Tvrdy-led third quarter, the Rams returned to form with a convincing 72-43 win over visiting San Diego State at Moby Arena.

"This group needed that. Our team needed that. So hopefully this can propel us and we can keep getting better," CSU coach Ryun Williams said.
