Colorado State volleyball returns to winning ways in sweep of Eastern Kentucky

FORT COLLINS — There was little doubt what purpose Sunday served for Colorado State.

Following a difficult road trip in which the Rams faced a pair of top 25 teams in hostile territory — coming away with back-to-back losses — they needed a little pick-me-up match.

Eastern Kentucky, winners of just one match all season, was a perfect standing target to right the ship. CSU comfortably dispatched the Colonels in three sets, 25-12, 25-22, 25-13, to improve to 7-3 with one exhibition match against Shanghai (China) left Monday before conference play.
