Colorado State volleyball keeps rolling with road sweep of UNLV

LAS VEGAS — Home or road, the No. 20 team in the nation keeps rolling.

Colorado State, backed by 10 kills in the first two sets from middle Paulina Hougaard-Jensen, swept UNLV 25-14, 25-18, 25-19, the Rams eighth sweep in conference play.

Colorado State (19-2 overall, 9-0 MW) hit .385 on the night, while limiting the Rebels (7-15, 3-6) to just .093, with Breana Runnels leading the team with 11 kills. Kirstie Hillyer and Jasmine Hanna had seven kills each as setter Katie Oleksak finished with 40 assists.

As the Rams continue to set the pace in the conference, coach Tom Hilbert sees his team getting better.
