FORT COLLINS — Colorado State's volleyball team picked up two key wins in Mountain West play over the weekend, and the Rams were rewarded with a two-spot gain when the AVCA poll was released Monday.
CSU, now 16-2 overall and 6-0 in conference play, moved up to No. 21, also moving up to No. 30 in RPI. A five-set win over Boise State and a sweep of Utah State on the road also gave the Rams a two-game lead in the standings over San Jose State, Boise State and Wyoming, all with two losses.
