Colorado State homecoming football game already sold out

Colorado State announced Thursday the homecoming football game on Oct. 14 against Nevada is already a sellout, with only standing-room only tickets available.

The on-campus stadium seats 36,500, with room for 41,000 with SRO tickets. A university spokesman said there is no word yet on if the school will try to sell to capacity for homecoming.

The Rams sold out the first game at the facility with an announced crowd of 37,583 — the third largest crowd in school history — as the university limited the SRO tickets sold. Two weeks later, CSU had 27,038 for the win over Abilene Christian.
