Colorado State has roughly 3,300 Showdown tickets remaining

FORT COLLINS — Colorado State is running out of its allotment of tickets for Friday's Rocky Mountain Showdown, school officials announced Monday night.

According to numbers from Paul Kirk, the CSU assistant athletic director for communications, the university has 29,039 tickets out for the game, a number that includes season-ticket holders. Of that number, 7,600 are students.

With a few days remaining before the 6 p.m. kickoff at Mile High Stadium, CSU has 1,750 non-student tickets remaining to sell, 1,591 student tickets.

Final attendance for last year's game was announced at 69,850, the biggest crowd for the game since 2003, with 34,167 sold by CSU.
