Colorado State football relishes a home game

FORT COLLINS — The program waited nearly 50 years to play a football game on campus, so the month wait between the second and third at the new facility isn't all that bad.

Still, Colorado State is looking forward to a home crowd for the first time since Sept. 9, and it's hoping for a packed house when Nevada arrives for an 8:15 p.m. kickoff (ESPN2).

No matter how you look at it, it's good to be home, especially when you consider trips to Alabama, Hawaii and Utah in between.

"Like I told the coaches last night, really, you've been on the road for a month, because the week we were off they were on the road recruiting all across this country," CSU coach Mike Bobo said at Monday's press conference.
